Well EDSFAT are busy getting ready for this years reunion! We will have our usual sales and tombola stand in the LID and a space on the training field. On the field this year you can have a go with different types of training models including our state of the art patient simulator Stat Man. If you really want to put your skills to the test we have designed some scenarios of varying difficulty to see how you may react to a genuine emergency. These will be over seen by two of EDSFAT’s experienced trainers. Ian Lewis has many years experience in providing first aid and organising first aid cover at events and is also a trainer for Ambulance Service Community Responders. Matt Jones is a Paramedic and Placement Educator for undergraduate Paramedic Students and trainer/assessor for other clinical grades within the Ambulance Service.
Sunday there will be two, one hour sessions on basic life support and automated external defibrillators. Places can be booked with the team on the Saturday.
